Bay Leaf Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

3 pounds russet or Idaho potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 McCormick® Gourmet Collection 100% Organic Bay Leaves, Turkish
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Gourmet Collection 100% Organic White Pepper, Ground
2/3 cup hot milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, cut into chunks

Directions

1. Place potatoes and bay leaves in 4-quart saucepan. Add water to cover. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender.

2. Drain and return potatoes to pan. Remove bay leaves. Add salt and white pepper. Mash with potato masher, gradually adding milk, then butter. Serve immediately.
