Ingredients

1 can (14 1/2 ounces) chicken broth
1 cup uncooked bulgur
1 teaspoon McCormick® Gourmet Collection Rosemary Leaves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Gourmet Collection Thyme Leaves, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Gourmet Collection Sage, Rubbed
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 pound kielbasa sausage, halved lengthwise and cut in 1/4-inch slices
1 apple, such as Gala or Golden Delicious, cut in thin wedges
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Gourmet Collection Fennel Seed
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Directions

1. Pour broth into liquid measuring cup. Add water to measure 2 cups.

2. Pour broth mixture into medium saucepan. Add bulgur, rosemary, 1/4 teaspoon of the thyme, salt and sage. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and bulgur is tender. Set aside.

3. Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onion; cook 10 minutes or until caramelized, stirring occasionally. Add sausage, apple, remaining 1/4 teaspoon thyme and fennel seed; cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add balsamic vinegar and herbed bulgur; mix well.
