Roberta's MoRockin Mix was developed by Roberta Wolfson, from Miami, FL. She was inspired to create this blend for a friend who used to live in the Middle East. She competed in the final round of the 2002 McCormick® $10,000 Blend to Win Challenge, a contest that invited food lovers from across the country to create their own unique spice blend.

1. Mix all ingredients until well blended.

2. Store in tightly covered jar in cool, dry place.

Tips

Moroccan Roasted Chicken: Rub whole chicken (3 to 3 1/2 pounds) with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 2 garlic cloves, crushed. Squeeze juice from 1 lemon all over chicken. Place lemon halves inside chicken cavity. Rub 2 tablespoons Spice Mix inside and on skin of chicken. Roast in preheated 350°F oven 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until chicken reaches 170°F in the breast and 180°F in the thigh.
