Mexican Oregano is stronger in flavor and different in character than the Mediterranean variety. It is widely used in Mexican cooking and complements other dishes as well.
Add 1 teaspoon to 4 cups tortilla soup, chili con carne or lemon juice and oil to baste chicken and pork. Use to prepare tacos, enchiladas, burritos, spicy soups, bean dishes and other Mexican foods. Use on beef, pork, chicken and in cheese dishes.
