Mint Flakes, the dried leaves of the spearmint plant, derive their name from the Greek mythical character, Minthe. From California, they have a sweet, cool and aromatic flavor.
Usage Tips
Add 1/2 teaspoon to 4 cups fruit salad or choocolate cake recipe. Steep in water with tea. Use in sauces and fruit punch. Add to lamb stew, chicken dishes, peas and chutney. Use to make mint jelly. Heat in fruit juice and pour over fruit.
1 teaspoon = 2 teaspoon fresh.
