Basil Leaves, called the "Herb of Kings" by the ancient Greeks, are known for their fragrant clove-like aroma. Grown in the Mediterranean, they are also called the tomato herb.
Usage Tips
Complements any tomato dish. Adds flavor to fish and chicken dishes. Add to eggs, dips, cottage cheese, zucchini, peas, carrots and salad dressings. Mix 1 tablespoon with garlic and oil to use while basting chicken or pork roast.
